The QA/QC team has been instrumental in supporting the LTHT Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit in developing an industry leading service, producing ready to administer injectable medicines.

What you will bring to the role You will be an experienced and motivated quality professional with specialist knowledge of Pharmaceutical QC Services. Ideally, you will have extensive experience working within Microbiology and Medical Gas Testing. Experience in Cleanroom Testing or Temperature monitoring would also be beneficial in this role.

Using your specialist knowledge and expertise, you will provide expert advice and coordinate quality control activities across licensed and unlicensed preparation areas, ensuring high-risk medicines are prepared to the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You will bring strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Working collaboratively across MMPS, you will drive continuous improvement, research and innovation, and play a key role in developing and maintaining a strong quality culture. You will be confident in managing complex quality issues, influencing practice and supporting service development within a highly regulated environment.

The successful candidate will also be able to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, providing operational support during weekends, late nights, Bank Holidays and major incidents. Above all, you will demonstrate a commitment to patient safety, staff development and the continuous improvement of pharmacy preparative services.
