Essential criteria

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council

• Qualified to Pharmacy Services Level 3 or equivalent

• Accuracy Checking qualification Level 3

• Level 4 qualification in medicines management or equivalent, or working towards

Desirable criteria

• BTEC Professional Development Certificate in Technician Checking

Experience Essential criteria

• Clinical ward based pharmacy and medicines management experience

• Recent hospital dispensing experience

Desirable criteria

• Patient counselling

• Over the counter medicine sales experience

Skills Essential criteria

• Good communication skills

• Attention to detail
