Job description

• To use data analysis to assess and detect trends and variations in the utilisation of specific medicinesacross the Care Groups and compared to other Trusts.

• To support the development and analysis of reports relating to medicines expenditure.

• TosupportwithDispensary/Clinical duties across the Redwoods, St Georges Hospital and Haywood Hospital as needed

• To support with delivering and auditing a training programme for IT, pharmacy and other healthcare professionals in the use of electronic prescribing and other associated systems.

• To support the provision of specialist pharmacy technical input into the electronic prescribing and medicines administration system (EPMA) and medicine management systems across MPFT

• contributing to wards both operational and strategic development.

• To support the development of theElectronic Prescribing System (EPS)

• To provide support for the training of Pharmacy team and service users

• To support the implementation of new technologies.
