Our team is expanding, and we are looking for several Pharmacy Assistants to join our growing service at HMP Altcourse . This is a rewarding opportunity to work within our onsite pharmacy , while gaining exposure to a wider multidisciplinary team in a unique and supportive healthcare environment. The pharmacy team play a vital role in delivering safe, effective care and supporting each patients health journey.

HMP Altcourse is the busiest remand prison in England, accommodating approximately 1,160 adult males with an average stay of 10 weeks. Practice Plus Group provides primary care and substance misuse services across eight wings, clinic areas, inpatient facilities, and reception services. Salary £25,557 - £29,723 per annum

Hours

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts will be between 7am - 6pm Monday - Sunday.

Please note, this role requires flexibility and will include unsociable hours , such as evenings and weekends where applicable

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks
