• To lead and ensure the

effective and efficient management and delivery of in-patient pharmacy

dispensing services at STSFT

• To work with the

Associate Chief Pharmacist for Operational services and assist with projects to

improve efficiency and establish greater integration both within the department

and the Trust to meet the changing needs of the organisation.

• To develop, implement

and monitor standards for the service, including ensuring compliance with

relevant medicines legislation.

• To implement and

co-ordinate audit and research activities within the dispensary.

• To participate at

managerial meetings as a Senior Technician Manager, providing support to both the

operational and corporate delivery of services to meet the best interests of

patients and service users.

• To work as part of team

and when required, provide cross-cover to other operational Senior technicians.

• To work in partnership

with Choice Ltd. Out-Patient services, ensuring staffing requirements as delivered

as per contractual agreements.

• To ensure on-going

management, training and development of staff within Dispensary services.
