Accurately dispensing and checking medicines for our patient population

Collecting prescription charges in line with protocol

•

Maintaining stock levels and supporting reordering processes

•

Receiving and storing supplies, ensuring correct handling and cold-chain compliance

•

Dispensing controlled drugs in accordance with practice policy

•

Safe disposal of returned and out-of-date medication

•

Processing repeat prescriptions within our 48-hour target

•

Providing clear, helpful advice to patients about their prescriptions

•

Managing prescription requests via email, telephone, online systems and face-to-face

•

Supporting monthly dispensary returns

•

Maintaining accurate records and following all Standard Operating Procedures

•

Helping maintain a clean, safe and organised dispensary environment

•

Providing cover for colleagues annual or sick leave
